In the electric future, we'll all be better at karting

Maybe it's because I've been slogging my way through !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , which handily defeated Naruto and the Namek Explodes arc of Dragonball Z to become the filler champion of all anime, but I've been thinking alot about karting.

See, I'm (finally) at the point in the series when Capeta is hopefully going to make the jump from karts to junior formula cars. I'm excited about this, because racecar, but also a bit apprehensive, because the formula cars have actual multi-speed transmissions, and it's going to take ages for Capeta to pick this up, simply so the audience can spend 10 episodes experiencing every freaking detail of it.

And then I was driving home last night and realized that I don't know much about left foot braking. I was always taught to keep my left foot off the brake, but LFB is a widely-used racing technique. Maybe that's why I suck at karting! Maybe it's not the fact that I'm a 270 lb sack of meat in an 8 hp kart with worn tires on smooth concrete!

Well, that probably contributes, but I think in the future, when we're all driving transmissionless electrics to work, saving our precious, government-issued Petrosynth tokens for our allotted two minutes of annual track time, we're going to make a way to drive them more actively. And since we won't have third pedals, I'm guessing we'll all learn very quickly how to brake with the left.

I like Teslas. They're beautiful and practical and soon to be quite economic. But I also like to shift and rev match and bring the road experience as close to the track experience as I legally can.

It's fun, but like I said, it's pretty diluted with filler. It's the type of show with flashbacks to earlier in the episode. The flashbacks have flashbacks. Thankfully, it's all on Youtube, so you can just skip through them.
